This is my first year that I have actually breed my own rabbit and raised them from birth and I think this had helped me place and make it into the premium auction for the first year. I really loved the fact that I placed with my rabbits and it was a very good experience for me. I hope with hard work and determination to get a higher placing next year or maybe even Grand Champion. Raising rabbits has taught me a lot about responsibility, feeding early in the mornings before school, cleaning the cages, keeping the rabbits cool during the summer with frozen water bottles and rushing out before a storm to wrap the cages with tarps. With the money I won I am planning on making new cages for my rabbits and have enough rabbits to enter the Houston Livestock Show next year which is a show for breeders only.
